Lastnight I pulled my exhaust pipe off to see if the pump was leaking and found that the oil injector cable stabilizer nut was snapped the cable was still in place but i was wondering if I have to replace the whole cable or can I just replace the nut?

I have seen many cable ends "snapped" off, but never the nut. Always it is the threaded piece that breaks off with the nut on it.
Buy the new cable. It is cheaper than buying the engine.Bill O'Neal <br>

I had it happen once. The nut cracked in 1/2. 1/2 was still sitting on the cable, rusted - the other 1/2 I found in the bilge.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

My apologies it was the threaded piece that snapped. Is the cable easy to replace and does it have to be calibrated to make sure proper amount is being injected??RookComment
