? about carb settings

Hello, I just redone the top end on my 97 xp. Should I adjust the carb settings before running much. It has been started (fired right up) and run for about an hour & 1/2 per sbt breakin procedures,idles @ 1500 in water and 3000 out of the water.Plugs don't look as oiley as before but it seems to run better. I'm still running on the breakin oil in the gas tank. Thanks for any info!
