  • Guage Removal (VTS Specifically)

How do you do it? What is the access?

Lastly, I have a working VTS (I just replaced it with a new housing). Previous one had a cracked box and must have been contaminated with water. The VTS gauge however is crapped out completely and I noticed partially filled with water.

Where can I order a new gauge if this one isn't repairable?

First, learning how to spell gauge correctly would be a start.

www.hlsm.com shows the break-down and you can order parts.

wow....a new gauge is $150. Think I might live with a non functioning gauge indication and go with the obvious ride indication.

Have you tried ebay or any of the classified sections of these web pages?

Gave ebay a shot and found one currently bidding...remarkably low price... It mentions it came from a running ski but failed to mention if the gauge was functioning properly or not. Worth the bid though.

Yes used parts are frequiently "remarkably lower in price"........than brand new oem parts from a dealership.
