Removing cylinders on a 947 engine

Hey, while were on the subject. I tried to pull off my cylinders last night without removing the cylinder to crankcase studs. It did Not work, got stuck. I just don't know why?

There are o-rings on the studs..they are intended to work as vibration dampeners to keep the studs from breaking.....You need to remove the studs to make the task very easy!
