I have a 1995 Seadoo XP that the variable trim does not work. I have replace the motor and it has power to both wires at the motor but still does not work. Any ideas? Thank you!

Did you try the motor while not installed in the VTS housing? You can use some jumper wires direct from the battery to the motor leads. The motor gear should turn. Reverse the wires and it should spin the other way.

This will rule out a motor problem.

Be carefule jumping with the battery in the boat...make sure it is WELL ventilated as it will spark and you don't want any vapors going off on you.

Most VTS problems are in the housing, not the motor.

Simplest things first: switch continuity both ways and THEN check the rest of the circuit.
