96 xp This is s a tough one!

The machine will run perfect after it is warmed up and been allowed to hit the rev limiter once or twice! I was told to go through the rave valves, so I did with new diaphrams and reset all springs. It acts as if there is not enough pressure to open the raves. When I open the Raves by hand on the trailer the thing runs perfect. How does the pressure get to the diaphram from the combustion chamber?

    Thanks for the help

    Re: 96 XP Bogging

The pressure of the exhaust comes through a hole in the upper part of the exhaust ports, through the rave valve mounting pod and into the diaphram on the rave valve. Be sure that this hole is clean in the clyinder and in the rave valve pod.

But, stuck rave valves do not cause a motor to "bog". It just limits the maximum rpm.

You may have some other issue with the motor and are looking in the wrong place to solve the problem.
