  • Throttle Lever Return

What makes the throttle lever return on my SeaDoo GTX. The lever pulls the throttle and the cable stays out. The end of the throttle on the carb is hidden out of sight down the side of the hull. Have I lost a spring on the throttle or is something missing that pulls the cable back.:emoticonn

    Re: Throttle Lever Return

You broke a spring. There should be a spring in the throttle shaft linkages. You will need to dissasemble the airbox assembly and probably remove the carbs to get a good look.

Here is a picture of a carb that shows the type of spring you should find, usually a coil spring. see part 34. I'm sure this is not your carb but will give you an idea of what you are looking for. Hopefully you will get lucky and one of the ends just slipped out of it's stop.
