Block off plate???

Hi guys, juat bought an HX and a XP both 97s and i had a ? about the oil injection. The guy i bought it off of said that the it had been converted from injection to premix... How do i know that that is true... I know there is a block off plate but where does that located if installed? The tanks and lines are still in there and well i dont want to run them with too much oil

for the xp, the plate will be located on the front cover (magneto cover). as far as the HX i am not sure.

Same spot on both, the block off plate removes the oil pump below the carbs, it's about 1-1/2in long, kinda of oval shapped with 2 screws, you will still have 2 oil lines connected egine block, this is used to keep the rotary valve oiled...
