I'm getting alot of side to side sway when riding at slower speeds even though handlebars are not being turned. (the rear just goes back and forth untill speed is increased) I noticed yesterday that about halfway into a turn it seems to really dig hard all of a sudden too and will just about throw you off if you're not holding tight. The jet drive does not seem overly loose but I'm wondering if that's the problem.

Re: Question on a 96 Sea Doo xp 787
actually, that is normal with the X-4 hull. extended trim tabs on the rear, and an extended ride plate will help with that "wobble"

Re: Question on a 96 Sea Doo xp 787
I think you are experencing " bow steer" caused by having the trim pointing too far down, forcing the front of your boat to ride deep in the water.
Wobbling is not normal in a 1996 XP with a working trim system.Bill O'Neal <br>
