  • gas in engine 89 sp

after my sp sits for awhile, gas leaks into the motor. the longer it sits the more gas in it. i shut the gas off after each use. even if the needle and seat were to leak were would all that gas come from? the line from the fuel pump?
it seems to be more gas than that can hold. or could it be from the return line? it goes into both cylinders so i ruled out it going through the fuel pump into the pulse line for the pump. please help my sp is drowning in it's own gas. Thanks

you may think you are turning the fuel knob when in fact it may be stripped..
check this.. cause shutting the fuel will not allow any fuel in..

Replace the needles and seats in the carbs and replace the fuel valve.
