  • seadoo cb shaft white VS silver engine????

    are the cb shafts the same in the white and silver engine?
    i have one out of a silver and wondering if it will work in a white?

    Depends.....787 or 947?



    947/951 carbureted are identical


    787 all 1996 and later are identical

    1995 787 has different drive gears, and will not work in any other model (the same for the crankshaft, also the crankshaft PTO thread pitch is different, and will not work with the later PTO's


    Of course if you use a crankshaft, counterbalancer, and PTO from a 1996 or later model in a 1995 engine they will physically fit and work, and vice-versa.
