This is my first time writing to anyone about my 1997 'Sea Doo" speedster twin Rotex 717 jet boat.

My son pulled the bilige wire thinking it would save battery energy. The engines were submerged for a day after that. I have leaks where the propeller black fins are bolted through the hull. Four days later I got them both started again. The Port engine backfires at 3000 rpm. Sometimes it will go to 4500 other times it will go to 7000. The starboard engine would not run for longer than 15 seconds until I pulled the carbureator and cleaned out the salt. Now this engine will not go over 2500 rpm.

There is about 5 gallons in the tank left. Today I pour in another 15 gallons.

Can you help me get my engines back to speed?
