i took apart my carb sbn38 to see how it looks. the spring had some corrision and a couple of the screws were too. this tells me that a rebuild is in need. i looked at the adjuster screws and the tips were not pointed they were more flat. i am thinking this maybe the reason why i had problems with hard start and keeping an idle. where is a good place to order the screws i am going to get a rebuild from sbt or bill. is there a website i can go to that has a good break down of the carb so that i can order the little screws the had corrison on them

Yes, a needle valve must be perfect to work correctly.

You can also get yourself the Mikuni manual for your carbs....it will help you out i'm sure. Do a search for it on Google and if you cannot find it then let me know and i'll have a look for you
