will it hurt to just leave the pump on and just block off the lines. I have seen it done before this is an 717 twin cyl rotary engine seadoo.

The oil injector pump requires oil to lubricate it's internal components, and it will seize in a short amount of time.. The best choice is to replace the injector pump with a brand new unit and retain the oil injection, but this is a costly option! Most people choose to remove the oil injection system and replace the pump with a block-off plate....SBT has these kits available here on the web-site, here is the link; http://www.sbtontheweb.com/Merchant2...tegory_Code=36
