99 XPL when you open the hood and take out the storage the idle drops??

motor is BRAND new sbt...runs real good.. i just started it up for the first time tonite.....this might be nothing..buut when i open the front engine compartment while its running and take out the storage tray..the idle drops some... its prolly normal..BUT wanted to ask a few experts here thanks!!

nevermind the throttle cable is to tight..DUH didnt think of that before...
