My 92 SP engine runs great, only I can't count on it getting me home. It seems to start and run, and then when I get a mile or three from home the engine just stops. I have had the starter switch replaced, the key switch replaced, and the starter relay replaced. Still it happens. Now I can keep it running by holding the key switch while holding the starter, then releasing the key switch and the engine starts but I have to hold the starter switch in. It will then get me home. I think the starter itself releases when the engine starts even though I am still holding the start switch in. I have been told to replace the electrical box complete. Where should I go to get one. E-Bay has one for the xp engine. Will that work even though I have a 580 and the 93 is a 640 engine??? Help
