I have a '96 GSX and I'll start it up and give it gas to go but it feels like I'm "spinning my wheels", it revs up full rpms but moves really slow and eventually picks up speed, once going pretty fast it then has response power. I looked at the impeller and it has a few little nicks here and there, could it be the wear ring? there is about an 1/8" gap between the impeller and the wear ring, is that normal? It's the stock impeller and the engine runs great, I don't understand why this is happening. pleez help....
