SeaDoo Oil??

I suspect this has been asked b4, but can't find any past post on it.

I have a '98 GTX RFI which I use SeaDoo synthetic oil in, per the recommendations. Expensive!!

Also have a '96 GSX which I use SeaDoo mineral oil in, again being a loyal follower of the SeaDoo (biased) recommendations. Cheaper then the synthetic but still pricey.

Questions:

1) Am I being silly using this expensive stuff with the SeaDoo name?
2) What oil do you guys recommend for each of my 2 machines? (I noticed that Costco has Castol 2 cycle for less than 1/2 price of the SeaDoo mineral for example)
