I have a 97 GSX with a SBT 800 motor that was initially using pre-mix on install. I recently went with a new oil pump and installed the more recent oil pump shaft that fits over the crank nut. Everything was fine for the next cople of hours but it eventually sheared all the teeth off of the nut-side of the shaft. Before I replace it again has anyone any idea on what would cause this? There is little scoring on the shaft itself and I don't feel any burrs on the nut.
Thanks for the advice,
