  • sbt 787 rfi backfires at high rpm

please help, I have a new sbt 787 rfi in a 1999 sea doo gtx rfi that runs and idles great until you get to the upper rpm's in which it backfires, I have tested and checked or swapped out the throttle position sensor, coils, fuel injectors, plugs, and also installed a new complete ground from stator cover directly to the battery to be sure that I did not have a weak ground, and the parts came from a perfectly running gsx rfi, the only thing I did not test is the rev limiter, is there an ohm test for this? Please help I am at a loss! and I know the rotary valve timing is correct as I have already moved it one tooth either way and it would not run, and I also reversed it, I know it is correct, thanks for the help?

Take it to a dealer, they can check your systems - you probably have a bad rectifier or MPEM.
