I was told to "de-fog" the engine and to drain the gas out of the seadoo to winterize it. Is this correct. And if so how do i "de-fog" the engine? I cant seem to find the carburator on it, and the manual is no help to me. Thanks

Someone mis-spoke or you heard wrong. You need to fog the engine, as part of winterization. The procedures are here: http://server1.sbtontheweb.com/forum...ad.php?t=13977SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Re: winterizing 01 seadoo xp
Thankyou. The instruction were very helpfull. Only addition question i have is that i cannot locate the carburetor on the machine. Is there anyway you could describe it, or take a picture for me? The manual i have is absolutly no help. The maschine i am asking about is a 2001 Seadoo XP. Thanks

Re: winterizing 01 seadoo xp
The carbs are right under the bog black plastic airbox. You don't need to get to them, you will see a little plastic nub that you pull out on top of the airbox, that's what you put the little plastic straw of the fogging oil can into, to fog.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Re: winterizing 01 seadoo xp
If you are in a warm climate the only things you need to worry about is fogging if it will be unused more than 4 weeks at a time, and stabilizing the fuel if it will be stored more than 2 months.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
