first off, hey all, newbie here~! I put a 90-91 yellow 580 motor in place of a white one in my 92 gts(long story..mtr was stolen...)...need to know what wires go where for the start switch, kill switch, and for the lanyard button...etc..... does anyone have the schematics?? Also, was told that the water flow is different??? Any and all help would be more than appreciated......

Water inlet line from jetpump goes to the through fitting on the side of the motor under the exhaust manifold, then out the other end of that fitting to the exhaust pipe. From there the water travels throughout the motor and exits the side of the head. You need a tee in the water inlet line to run a smaller hose to the fitting on the side of the exhaust pipe.
The start, stop and lanyard still connect to the same places they were connected to, unless you swapped electrical boxes too. The wires are color coded, so just hook them up to the right colored wires.Bill O'Neal <br>
