What is the top speed of a 98 GTX Limited

What speed should I be getting out of a 98 GTX Limited? I am only getting 48 to 50 MPH. 140 PSI on the cyclinders. New plugs , gas, oil. Carbs were cleaned last July. It has 100 hours on it. Replaced fuel baffle last year. Cleaned the On , Off Gas valve. I feel like I should get more speed. ANy thoughts?

56 is the fastest I've recorded on a stock 96 GTX 800. If you have some efficiency problems beyond motor tune, then you might have a wear ring that is up for replacement.

Thanks for the info. Is the Wear ring hard to replace? Is it time consuming? I want to ride.

Mine Hits 60 consistently

I've got two 98GTX LTD and they both hit 65 with smooth lake.
