Replacing Engine Mount Plate - SPX

I need to replace the engine mount plate on my 96 spx due to heavy corrosion. Do you suppose this can be done without completely removing the engine from the seadoo? It looks like you could leave the carbs on and roll the engine on its side for replacement.

I guess the bigger question is how long does it take to remove and install the engine properly?

ive done it in under 2 hours. your better off removing the motor... once you get the pipe and air box out, its pretty easy...
