I have a 2001 Sea-doo and need to replace engine. I've seen the 717 engine under 1998 but not sure if this is the right engine to put in. Anyone know what engine is in the 2001 Seadoo Bombardier gsi? Is this a difficult job to install a remanufactured engine? Would it be better to get the premium or is the standard the way to go?

Premium or standard is all up to you - how long of a warranty do you want? It's a premium package, not engine. There is only one engine.
