The traction mat on my 93 SPI is partially detached and floating up when I am in the water. I want to glue it back down. Any suggestions as to the glue I should use?

Re: glue for traction mat
If it is a foam mat, use contact cement. If it is a stiff rubber oem mat like comes on a Sea Doo, they use rivets to hold them down. The best thing to do there is buy Hydro Turf foam rubber mats and glue them down.Bill O'Neal <br>

Re: glue for traction mat
Thanks for the reply. They are foam mats. I bought DAP Weldwood gel formula contact cement tonight and applied it on the mat and the gel coat. I used a disposable "foam rubber" brush. I let it get tacky and pressed them together. Seems to work great. Thanks again.
