I tried using a 90 wt synthetic gear oil from Kragen the other day. Well, it apparently gets aerated, turns white and leaks out the cone from pressure build up. Hmmm, is my pump or cone leaking or do we really have to use SEA-DOO JET PUMP SYNTHETIC
      OIL (P/N 293 600 011)??????

You either had a leak or more likely, bearing damage.

You need to do exactly like the manual states. Pressure test the cone after re-installing it.
You probably pinched the oring. or have a bad front impellor shaft seal that needs replacing.

I charge $99.95 for a normal service of a watercraft. For that, we do about 90 minutes work. I get about $300-$600 to repair pumps and replace all the bad parts when customers decide to do their own pump services.........

Next time you hear someone complaining about a service shop, and the prices, remember this.
