97 GS Low oil level light

    97 GS Low oil level light

    I have a 1997 GS. The light stays on while in use, The resevoir is full of oil but it still shows low level. Ive taken the sensor out and checked wires and everything looks good. Is there a test I can do to issolate the sensor to make sure it is the problem before I just go to buy one?

    short the wires, see if it changes. Does it beep too?

      It doesn't peep at all, just stays on.
