1996 seadoo gtx, DESS
no beep, will not start, no lites or info center data
checked and cleaned post and lanyard....
with multimeter checked and tested all fuses in
front and rear elec boxes.
12 volts at battery, able to jump selenoid and engine cranks
with lanyard off i pressed start button 5 times.
no beep,no lites or info center data
with lanyard plugged and DISCONNECTED 3 wire plug from post WIRING
i checked continuity
1.from post to male connector...NO continuity
with lanyard "OFF" is was able to get continuity on blk/white and blk/yellow
from post
reconnected 3wire post connections...have continuity from post into mpem
and good ground as well
**** if i disco the post and jump and ground the 3 wires leading to the mpem
gauge lites turn on. get time date etc on info center
and if i press start 5 times. i get 1 short and 1 long beep
can anyone help me determine the cause?
