93 seadoo bombardier runs fine for 5 to 10 mins then starts to slow down

I have a 93 seadoo bombardier,it has been acting up,when I take it out for the first 5 mins it runs fine then it starts to slow down when i press the gas and when i hold the gas down it will rev up and slow down and speed up then slow down.when it starts that if you press the gas it will stall out.I sprayed the carb with carb cleaner and it didn't seem to help..I just bought the wave runner too.So can you help me out?Any advice would be great

Whats your compression? how old is the gas? did the previous owner mention any thing in regards to previous maintenance?
