Coupler burns up

Got a 03 di new moter the coupler between the tuned pipe and water box keeps burning up.called my mech said to ck water lines for clogs .Found line on top of pipe that runs to the air compressor to be restricted blew it out ran ski ...same thing again .Blew it out put another rubber couler on then back flushed for about a min.ck the line it was restricted again.Seems it doesnt have to run long to get restiction any clues anyone

What's it restricted with??? Sand? If so, you will need a thorough back flush to get rid of it all.

Also, check the condition of the water regulator on the waterbox.

There was a new moter put in the ski in june.Pump was off ,I cant tell whats clogging it.That one line that runs to the compresser is the one clogging.Water reg was gone through during moter install.
