No Beeps when placing DESS on pole. starter does not turnover. Battery has to be how many volts to turnover charged over nite. :(:(

Battery can spin the motor down to 10v +/-. Need more though to produce spark.

The no beeps tells me that you either have a bad ground somewhere, or your DESS post is bad.

Push the start/stop buttons 5 times quickly.. Do the gauges light up and you get a beep? If so, DESS post probably, if no, then grounding issue (or, really dead battery)

Installed new battery!!! Nothing from DESS no beeps no lights NOTHING everything seems to be grounded to the starter. Could it be the DESS?

Could there be an issue in the back electrical box next to the battery?

Did you perform the start/stop button test? Yes, it could be DESS, and other things..

I mentioned, in post #2 what you need to do, and what it could be caused by.. Did you read that?

Yes I performed the test on the stop/start DESS switch. Gauges do not light up. Nothing happened. I read what you sent . I believe everything is grounded. Whats next?

You need to start checking ALL the black wires you can find..
Did you do any work to the ski recently?

Not recently. This happened at the end of the year last year. Going across the lake it quit running. Check it out and it was blowing the 5 amp starter fuses found broken wire in small blackbox next to battery fixed wire connection. The fuses are fine now. When checking all black wires in the comnnectors etc.

no.. the MPEM holds the program, the DESS post just relays the code from the key to the MPEM

Found a new problem or the problem. In the back electrical box fuse blown replaced. check solenoid going to starter. In put on solenoid 12.6 volts: out put to starter 7 volts. Question bad solenoid ?
