my temp light is always on and i checked the wire on the sensor and it seems like a good connection. any ideas?

That light acts as an oil light too.. Hows the oil level?

oil tank is empty because i am now running premix. how do i get those lights off? the oil light is on too

Someone correct me if i am wrong, but don't you still need to keep oil in the resevoir to keep the rotary valve gear lubed even though you go to premix.

No, you can loop the lines together.

To turn off the light, you need to either zip tie up the float in the oil tank, or jump the wires coming out of the sender.

will that also turn off my temp light? I do have my oil lines looped with a T fitting in the middle capped in case i need to ever add oil.

It should, since its run in a series. You can always test the temp probe too.

the temp probe meaning the sensor that is screwed into the center of the head? how do you test it?
