  • reving up engine out of water

    what do i need to do to be able to start and keep my engine running, my ski is on my trailor......I pumped out the fuel (which was bad) and replaced it, now i want to make sure it will be o.k. before putting back in the water.......also i have been running regular unleaded fuel-----is this o.k.?????

    What type of ski are we talking here??

    You can start the ski on the trailer with no hose attached for 45 seconds +/-. This should be more than enough time to make sure it starts, and there are no major problems.

    If you need it any longer, attach the hose and turn it on AFTER the ski is running.

      97 xp800, can i use a regular garden hose, and where does it go?????

        Look in the back... There should be a spot next to the pump for it to thread into.. Yes, a regular hose.
