Dan, I am confused, what does the pulse line do if it goes to the carb ? what runs the fuel pump ? is there a fuel pump on carb models I know on my snomobils it ran the fuel pump,,,tg :)

The pulse line takes the pulses from rhe crankcase and applies them to the fuel pump diaphragm, these pulses, in turn, cause the fuel pump diaphragm to move back and forth and draw fuel through the check valves in the pump body. This is how the fuel is "pumped"John Kubiak

similar, but your snomobile uses a remote fuel pump (external from the carbs).. Most ski's (not all) have the fuel pump as part of the carb assembly. At any time, you can take off the fuel pump and put on a normal carb plate and run an external..Dan Solie -
