  • To everyone

Hope all is well with everyone. I'm a relatively newbie. The season is about to change here in Charlotte NC. My question is if I store my 2000 Seadoo GTX inside will I need to winterize it????

As long as the garage doesn't freeze you will be fine. Just make sure you pull the battery out and put it on a trickle charger, add stabil to the gas and run it for a few minutes on the hose. Then, blow all the excess water out with a few blips of the throttle

A big thank you!!! one more question if you don't mind. What does a tune-up consist of. Meaning what should I do in terms of tuning it up?|?

        Re: To everyone

A tune up is typically new plugs, changing the pump oil, greasing the zerk fitting(s) and giving her a good wash/wax

            Re: To everyone

lol.. Where the driveshaft meets the motor (under the plastic cover) there is a "wheel" called a PTO. On that PTO, right where the driveshaft enters the PTO, there is a small metal nipple, called a Zerk Fitting. You use a grease gun (available at any hardware store) and some marine grease and pump some grease in there.

Just a few squirts is fine, you will see the black boot start to expand, stop pumping.
