  • 96 GTI Sea Doo

I have a 96 GTI that is giving me fits, I have had the carbs off and cleaned and rebuilt, the fuel pump, I also cleaned the fuel tank and replaced the lines.
The problem that I'm having is it runs OK for about 15 minutes and then stars loosing power, I have heard the gear that drives the rotary valve goes bad, does anyone know how to check this and what are the signs of this going bad. Any help is appreciated!

Next time it does that, open your gas cap, see if it still does it. Sounds like your vents are not working properly.

I tryed that.I also checked the hoses on top of the tank to make sure they were on correctly and I checked the check valve and the pressure relief valve.

Take compression readings before you head out, then take them again when it looses power.. Report.
