Where would you get a degree wheel to set the timing. Can it be done by eyeballing it

Make one from 2-60 cent walmart protractors.
overlap the bottoms and glue them together, then hold it over the ports and make your marks on the housing.
I did this on a white 580 spi and its still running strong, 2 years later. -
