  • More Electric Issues

    1997 Seadoo xp 787cc
I am not getting any voltage to the white wire coming into the coil. Today I pulled the flywheel cover off, and noticed a slight spark when I removed the cover. It looked like the two wires from the pickup had been cut, and were grounding against the inside of the cover. I fixed this, but still had 13 volts from the cover lid to ground. I then removed the winding, and the voltage went away. Is this normal?? Shouldn't the windings be isolated from the cover?? Well now I have no power when I insert the Lanyard,,,no beeps,, no nothing. I checked the 3 fuses in the mpem, and the hidden one in the electric box. Arrghh. Anyone with any info,,please give me some ideas..
    Thanks,
