2008 GTX 155 Wear Ring Problem

I have a 2008 GTX155 and I am on my 4th wear ring. The wear ring keeps wearing out on the bottom. The last one I had replaced did not last 30 minutes. It is still under warranty for a month but the dealer keeps telling me that everything is checking out ok. They are going to put a stainless steel ring in the unit this time but I am afraid that will just cause more problems. I have also had to pay almost $200.00 every time this goes out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your pump bearing must be going out, allowing too much play in the impeller..

Or...

Your dealer is staffed with morons...

the dealer said the bearings are good and the impellar is fine....any other ideas?
