I've got a jet ski that has been given to me that was laying in a farm field from flooding/dam breaking in Delhi, Ia. Its a 2005 GTx Seadoo and I'm trying to get an estimate on how much it would cost to repair it? I know that we would have to clean out all the parts because they are probably full of sand/dirt. We're not sure at this moment in time what all exactly will be needing replaced. Can anyone give me a rough guess on how much it would even cost for a complete new engine? (without labor costs of putting it in.) Thanks!

You really need to start taking it apart to find out what needs to be replaced, is the electrical system good? computers in good shape?, is the engine block and head salvageable? is the gauge and fuel pump good? all these things will cost big money to replace besides the engine cost. Take some time and see what you have to work with that is still good then start pricing out the bad parts.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
