Looking at a ski but was told that it wont run over 4000rpm and then it surges. Was told the only thing done to it was the idle screw was adjusted and then adjusted back and it never ran right sence. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of where to start.

Probably the carbs, gummed up fuel system, old fuel etc etc.
Also, take a compression test before you buy the ski. make sure both cyls are close to each other in PSI.Dan Solie -
