Can I use Permatex 66B Blue Silicon gasket stuff to gasket the carb to the manifold on my 720?
Thanks , JoeV

Yes, if the gasket is in good shape, any good quality gasket maker type sealant will work.
So would new gaskets

Use high tack, shellac, indian head, or the like.

I actually had in mind if there was anything wrong with using it as THE gasket .. by itself. I probably could take the carb off carefully and then re-use the original, buttering it with the blue silicon. It would take a little while to get a new paper gasket, so that's why I was asking about the gasket-maker stuff.
Thanks all for the replies.

No, you cannot.

Not a good idea. Sometime down the road, if the gasket maker erodes away, you will be buying pistons.

The best I have found is Loc-Tite 518 and oem gaskets.
