  • 1998 Sea-Doo GSX Limited fuel pressure problem

I just put a silver engine in my 98 gsx limited which originally had a white engine. I have it completely installed but have no fuel pressure. I read the pump is activated by the vacuum and I noticed i have some vacuum lines that are not connected since i didn't see any corresponding connections on the engine block. Do some vacuum lines connect directly to the carburetors? any extra linea i have i capped off. Is there a diagram out there i could use? I know the fuel lines are correct but im stumped otherwise.
Any and all help is much appreciated.

They are fairly identical motors, with very minor differences...

    You need a manual.

The fuel is pumped via the fuel pump, that is pressurized via a pulse tube, that connects to the fuel pump and to the motor (right below the carbs). There is a second pulse fitting there as well, and that goes to the rave solenoid.
