starting ski without jet pump on

  • starting ski without jet pump on

    i have a 2000 xp and i have the jet pump off. is it ok to start the ski with out it so i can winterize it . is there any thing else i would need to take off before starting the engine.any help would be great.

    Yup, you can start it. Just make sure you remove the driveshaft too.

      how does thedrive shaft come out. i have never taken that apart yet.

        This might help a little. I didn't see the 2000 XP shop manual listed but one of the other models my help.

          The 2001 manual will be identical.
