  • Winterization? for 96 GTX

I live in Minnesota, and bought my first PWC this summer. Is there anything special that I need to do for freezing temp storage? It will be in my garage, which isn't heated, and can reach freezing. The service manual says to flush the motor. Should I do anything else to make sure there is no water in the motor? Like run it for a few minutes? Also besides fogging oil in the cylinders, and fuel stabilizer, anything else that I should do?

    Thanks!

That's really about it... Yes, I would run the motor for 30 seconds, get it hot, then let it cool down and repeat for a few days. If this is a garage that you will be in often, you can start it throughout the winter (that's what I do). (don't fog if you are going to run it often)

Other than that, make sure you have a battery tender nearby to keep the battery charged and store it with the seat cracked open.
