  • right engine on 2000 Challenger

I Have a 2001 14 ft Sea Doo Challenger with twin 717 engines, one of the engines just up and quit while cruising around last season, I did troubleshoot a little, the engine will run out of the water but only on 1 cylinder (rear) I seem to be getting a spark (and I would assume fuel because it is a single carb) on the front cyl but it wont fire off
I don’t have a gauge to give you the compression…anything common that would cause this? Im wondering if I just need to replace the engine

Thanks in advance for any input

I swapped out the spark plug and front cylinder still wont fire off

You need to perform a compression test. Fuel air and spark are what is needed for a motor to run. You have spark, you have fuel... So it's must be air? A compression test will tell all.
