03 GTX-SC with SBT engine oil use.

I put a engine in this ski for a customer of mine about a year and a half ago. Ever since the engine was installed it uses about 1/4-1/2 quart of OEM SD oil per tank of fuel during normal riding (No spins or Jumping). I reported this during the first month of use after break-in and was told it should get better with age. It is not close the the warranty experation and wanted some to see if anything could be checked first before I start a warranty claim. No oil inside hull and it does not smoke when running.
