2nd engine not running right

Need help!!!!! This is my second SBT engine that I have installed. I was on my 2nd tank of gas breaking it in when the motor just stopped. I cranked it back up and it started took it back up to 80% and it continously stopped until getting back to the dock. On the way the motor progressivly got worse.

I brought it back home and decided to check cylinder pressue. Front cylinder 140+ psi, Rear cylinder 90 psi. What gives???? This is the third motor the rear cylinder has given out. Could this be a carb problem???

Please any help would be greatly appreciated!!! I still have the warranty for a couple of more weeks...

Yes it is more than likely your carbs, did you rebuild them? You’re running the rear cylinder lean and seizing the piston.

I personally didn't rebuild them but a marine mechanic was supposed to. The reason I say that is because I paid him 200.00 to rebuild them in the off season and then the boat dealer fired him a month later.

If the carbs are rebuilt properly it should not happen again.
