  • GTX 951 -98 second cylinder heats up more?

    Hi!
Sorry about the poor English language skills:)
I used a trailer for my gtx 1min and noticed that the magneto-sided cylinder was much hotter than the other, whether normal?
Could it be the oil problem, how do I know it? I took the plugs out and looks the same!
Spark plugs in both the same, but when I took the hotter cylinder cap hat off so the engine went out, but the colder cylinder cap hat off as not so much impact!
Could be the cause of the carburetor?

    Thank you so much!

You can't test heat sync on the trailer unless you are in the water. Put it in the water and retest.

If it was on the trailer in the water then yes, one cyl is hotter if you are letting it idle. There is minimal pressure to push water through the entire cooling system. Rev it up a few times in the water and you will feel the cyl cool down.

whether the compression pressure is too small: cold 135psi and warm 130psi (both cylinders are the same)!?

        Compression sounds perfect!
